Gillian Anderson-Mann, (MBA, MA Psychology), has been practicing yoga for over ten years. Her classes draw from elements of the Hatha, Vinyasa and Kundalini yoga traditions, incorporating kundalini meditations and exercises in a vinyasa flow style. Her teaching style is welcoming and fun, incorporating energizing sequences with restorative poses.
She teaches adults, prenatal, postnatal, parent & me, kids and toddler Yoga in a variety of settings including: yoga studios, health clubs, public schools, daycare and play centers, pre-schools, art galleries and parents' organizations. She also works with private clients, in particular pregnant women and clients who are new to yoga.
Gillian works with a range of organizations including: Golden Bridge Yoga (Soho), The Cobra Club, (Bushwick), Jack Hanley Gallery (Tribeca), MomPrep (UES), Loom Studio (Bushwick), Kids’ Canvas (Bushwick), the YMCA (Greenpoint) and 4th and 5th graders in Brooklyn public schools.
Gillian completed the following teacher trainings at Golden Bridge Yoga: Prenatal (Khalsa Way), Postnatal/Mommy & Me (Spirit Baby) and Kids Yoga (Radiant Child Yoga Program). She received her 200 hour, Yoga Alliance certified training from Greenhouse Holistic Yoga under the instruction, guidance and inspiration of Leigh Evans and Summer Quashie.
